It is becoming hard for criminals to hide nowadays and, the police are becoming more fluent and effective in their work on a daily basis. The South Africa Police Service released an official media statement from the Office of the Provincial Commissioner Eastern Cape which states that a 38-year-old drug kingpin was arrested at his house on the Shauder Avenue in Holland Park.
He was arrested for illegal possession of abalone that has a estimated street value of R3,7 million. The police found a huge amount of abalone in plastic bags stored outside and inside 5 deep freezers. Unfortunately, drug criminals such as the 38-year-old suspect use abalone to make powerful and dangerous drugs. They have a drug trade market that can go as far as China from South Africa. The drug kingpin was detained in Gqeberha in the Eastern Cape province.
